MITSUBISHI PRESENTATION PRODUCTS DIVISION SHOWS ITS WIDE RANGE OF HIGH-DEFINITION TECHNOLOGY IN BOOTH #26415 AT CES 2008

From Affordable High Def Projectors to 140” LED Screens

IRVINE, Calif., January 7, 2008 — Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America's Presentation Products Division, known for award-winning, high-quality, high-definition presentation and display products, is showing a wide range of high definition technology products at this year’s CES show in Las Vegas, January 7-10, 2008.

"Mitsubishi’s commitment to widescreen and HD technology for both home and business is apparent in our line up of products shown here at CES," said James Chan, director, product marketing, Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America"s Presentation Products Division. "We have an award-winning entry level 1080p as well as a new high brightness projector of the same full HD resolution. We are also showing our 140" Resolia® LED screen for indoor commercial signage applications. If you think about it, Mitsubishi"s range of display offerings is truly amazing."

Mitsubishi’s HC4900 recently won ProjectorCentral’s Prestigious Editor’s Choice Award. With a current $500 rebate offer, the HC4900 will be available for a total price $1995 in popular retail and internet sales outlets. Qualified customers can simply fill out a downloadable form within 30 days of the purchase date to receive $500 in the mail.

For the first time, Mitsubishi is exhibiting its FL7000 high brightness 1080p projector. Blasting 5000 lumens with a 1000:1 contrast ratio, the projector uses three robust 1.1 inch 3LCD inorganic panels, and is ideal in larger home theaters or commercial venues that require full high definition (1920 x 1080 pixels) for applications such as medical imaging, CAD/CAM designs, geo-spatial mapping, and others. At $14,995, the FL7000 is priced at a cost remarkably lower than similar projectors of the same caliber that are available today.

For a truly large screen experience, Mitsubishi is exhibited its Resolia LED screen monitor designed for indoor signage applications such as billboard advertising or informational displays in malls, airports, sports arenas, casinos and entertainment stages. At 140” diagonal, the Mitsubishi Resolia may be the latest in Mitsubishi Electric’s line of record-holding LED screens: The Guinness Book of Records holder for the longest LED screen in Hong Kong; the largest high-definition outdoor display screen at Turner Field in Atlanta; and the overall largest TV screen in the world in Tokyo.
