| The projector doesn’t start when I turn on the power. What could the problem be? |
- Check the following: Turn on the main power switch.
- Check if the lamp lid is open.
- The airflow passage may be blocked. Check to see if the air inlet/outlet vents or air filter are clogged with dust or another object. If so, remove/clean the passage.

| Why is there no sound accompanying the image? |
- Check the following: Make sure the volume control is turned on and set at the desired level.
- Make sure that the cables between the data source device and projector are all connected correctly.

| Why does the power indicator blink red when I turn on the projector? |
- The reason may be one of the following: The Projector was turned on again too soon after it was turned off. Wait for the lighting sequence to corret itself.
- The power switch was turned off while the fan was running, during or after lamp operation. Repeatedly turn the power switch on and off several times.
- The room temperature is too high for proper operation.
- If the lamp is not working, it may be burnt out. Replace it with a new lamp.

| The projector is running, but no image is being projected? |
- Check the following: Make sure the lens cap has been removed.
- Make sure the data source device is turned on an operating properly.
- Make sure the cables between the data source device and projector are connected correctly.
- Make sure that the correct input source has been selected.

| The projector suddenly stopped projecting the image. What happened? |
- The projector may have overheated. The airflow passage may be blocked. Turn off the main power switch and check to see if the air inlet/outlet vents or air filter are clogged with dust or another object. If so, remove/clean the passage, and leave the projector turned off for 10 minutes. Turn on the projector and resume.

| Why is the image projected distorted? |
- The projector may not be perpendicular to the screen. Adjust the projector so that it sits at a right angle (90-degrees) to the screen. If the image still seems distorted, try using the Digital Keystone Correction function.

| The image projected is blurry. How can this be corrected? |
- Check the following: The projection distance may be beyond the focus area capability of the model you own. Refer to the specifications in the User’s Manual, and adjust the projection distance accordingly.
- The lens may be dirty. If so, clean it.
- The image projection size may exceed specifications. Reduce it to between 40-300".
- Brightness and/or contrast may need correction. Adjust accordingly.
- Fine adjustment may not have been done. Conduct fine adjustment.
- Tracking may need to be adjusted. Adjust tracking.
- The projector may not be perpendicular to the screen. Adjust the projector so that it sits at a right angle (90-degrees) to the screen. If the image still seems distorted, try using the Digital Keystone Correction function.

| There are red/green/blue dots when text is displayed. What’s wrong? |
- This is a normal condition. There is nothing wrong.
|
| The image projected on the screen is distorted and a noise is being emitted from the projector. What is the problem? |
- Check the following: The cable from the data source device may not be securely plugged into the projector terminal. Make sure the connecting cable is securely plugged into the terminal.
- The projector and data source device are located too close to each other. Increase the distance between the projector and data source devices.

| Why doesn’t anything happen when I try to make adjustments to the projector? |
- There may be electrical noise or interference preventing operation of the controls. Press the reset button on the terminal board, and try making adjustments again.

| Why is there hot air being blown out of the exhaust vents? |
- This is part of the equipment cooling process, and is common for projection systems.
