LCD Monitors – Put technology to work for you.

Breaking Down the Basics
LCD monitors are thin displays used for televisions, computer monitors, wristwatches, digital thermometers, microwaves, digital signage, and countless other technologies. In fact, it's arguably the most common and diverse electronic flat screen technology in use today.
LCD monitors contain two thin transparent surfaces, usually glass, with grooves full of a liquid crystal substance. Thin film transistors (TFTs) on the surface material apply an electric current to the liquid crystals. That current polarizes the crystals, making them twist, which blocks light. When in the off position the liquid crystals go into random alignment and let light pass through.
Just a few of the features and benefits that set LCD technology apart include significantly higher resolution, beautiful display brightness, dramatically reduced glare, as well as lower energy and space requirements.
Assessing the Applications
The most advanced LCD monitors are flexible and deliver faster video response, a wider viewing angle, and higher brightness and contrast for high-impact messaging. They can also be used as a single display or tiled into a dynamic video wall. When you put LCD monitors to work, you'll enjoy engaging, cost-effective, and economical digital signage solutions specially designed to:
- Create more effective in-store messaging for an informed shopping experience.
- Build your brand identity and image in various consumer environments.
- Get immediate merchandizing response.
- Offer information as a public service in bigger public venues.
- And so much more!

LCD Monitors Line Up from Mitsubishi
Mitsubishi currently offers four different LCD monitor models – three "LDT" models and one specialty model. The three LDT models come in different display sizes of 32, 42, and 46 inches. With faster video response, a wider viewing angle, and higher brightness and contrast than other models, the LDT models are ideal for retail, entertainment, and other video-oriented displays. They can be used as a single display or tiled into a dynamic video wall. Our specialty model – the 56P-QF60LCU LCD Monitor – is a specialized, extremely high resolution monitor for viewing dense information in an efficient, easy to view format. Monitor and control rooms of all types – radiology, financial services, utilities, government, and beyond – can implement this 56-inch monitor to condense information from several displays or a video wall into a single display monitor for quick observation.
