Versatile Audio System
When the short throw projector is in stand-by mode, you can still use its high-volume 10W speaker. You can also use an external speaker anytime by connecting it via the Auto Out terminal. The Audio Mix feature and wireless microphone sold separately reproduce the speaker’s voice in real time loud and clear. With a significantly low 28dB noise level in low mode, the DLP projector operates quietly, never interfering with the presenter and in-room discussions. The Shortest Focal Distance Available Anywhere
Using a large-diameter lens and optimal optical engine design, the WD380U-EST DLP projector features an extremely short throw ratio of only 0.375. Place the short throw projector as close as 23 inches from the screen and you’ll get large, wide screen projection can be enjoyed without visual interference.
Present slideshows or animation effects without a PC using a USB drive
Convert PowerPoint files into a special format using a PTG Converter and save your presentation on a USB storage device; just connect the USB through the projector’s USB port and you’re ready to go. You can also project images from the DLP projector wirelessly using the optional wireless dongle.
Easy Network Connectivity & Remote Operation
Using Crestron Room View software, control up to 250 projectors including power/on/off control, message display and confirmation of lamp service hours. The short throw projector features Visual PA for simultaneous message display. When a control room computer connected to the LAN is equipped with projector-control software, messages up to 350 characters can be projected in real-time. Device management is simplified with AMX Device Discovery.

The lamps used in Mitsubishi DLP® and LCD projectors are critical parts. The factory-provided lamps were specifically designed to meet certain performance, quality, and design specifications. Non-Mitsubishi lamps may not meet those same standards, may not be compatible with your projector model, and/or may not be as reliable and durable as Mitsubishi lamps, all of which may negatively impact the performance and operation of your projector.
Replacement of the factory lamp with, or any other use of, non-Mitsubishi lamps, including but not limited to counterfeit lamps, is strongly discouraged and may reduce coverage under our limited warranty and service policy.
